What We Do
The Jeff Photiades Charitable Foundation offers financial gifts to organizations who apply through a simple request letter process.
Working with a set amount of funds each year, we select recipients based on the quality of their need and narrative. Upon selection, organizations receive a financial gift aligned with their request.
The Process
In letter format, tell us about your organization and project. Some questions you may consider addressing:
- Who are you?
- What are your organization’s values or beliefs?
- What project or need prompted you to apply? Why?
- In what ways will this grant money allow your organization to grow? How will it better enable you to support your community?
- What amount of funds will enable you to meet this project or need?
- How does your organization interact with and/or support the community?
- Tell us about how wisdom fits into your life: lessons learned from experience; impactful advice from philosophers, elders, or sages; life-changing books or conversations; times when you failed or achieved a hard-won success.
